Lil' Bunny pattern

Lil bunny pattern (Original pattern by Caroline Chrisco)

Supplies:
ww yarn
“F’ hook
6mm safety eyes
Fiberfill stuffing
Embroidery thread
Needles

Pattern is worked in continuous rounds unless noted otherwise. Do not join.
Begin at top of head:

Rd. 1 Make a magic circle and sc 6 into it. (6sc)
Rd.2 2 sc in next stitch; repeat around (12sc)
Rd. 3 2 sc in next stitch, 1 sc in next stitch; repeat around (18sc)
Rd. 4-7 sc around
*I usually place the eyes after this round*
Rd. 8 2sc in next stitch, sc in next 2 stitches; repeat around (24sc)
Rd. 9-12 sc around
*I embroider the mouth after these rounds*
Rd. 13 Sc in inside loop only; repeat around (24sc)
Rd. 14 (Continue working in inside loop only)Sc decrease then sc in next 2 stitches; repeat around(18sc)
Rd. 15(Continue working in inside loop only) Sc decrease then sc in next stitch; repeat around(12sc)
*Stuff only until just past the 13 round(where you started working in the inside loop, there should be a definite line)*
Rd. 16 (Continue working in inside loop only)Sc decrease around (6sc)
Fasten off.
I weave my end in and out of each of the remaining 6sc and pull gently until the hole cinches up neatly, then I weave in my end.
If you didn’t fill too full, you should be able to push in the bottom of your bunny for a flat sitting surface.
(I use the 13th round as my guide, it’s the first round of inside loop stitches. I push it in until it reaches that round.)

Ears(make 2)

Ch 15
Rd. 1 Sc in 2nd chain from hook then 12 sc down, 3 sc in last chain space. Working up opposite end of starting chain 12 sc;
3 sc in the beginning chain.

Rd. 2 12 sc; 3 sc next sc; 14 sc; slip stitch in next stitch; fasten off.

*You should a long, wavy oval.*
Tail:
I make a pom-pom and attach to back. You could also use a store bought one too.

Peep....peep

A gal from work ordered 4 of these lil sweeties from me for her sisters to give as easter presents. I all ready finished and delivered 2. No calorie Peeps!

More bunnies......

I'm such a seasonal crocheter. Fall: pumpkins and candy corn. Winter: snowman, and x-mas trees. Spring: bunnies, lambs, and chicks Soooo predictable. Here is a pattern I designed myself and I'm toying with the idea as offering it as a free pattern on my blog.

I thought these would make cute spring giveaways for work and friends.

Here is the latest on the weather out here. we have been captive all day holed up here in the house. First pouring rain last night, this morning freezing rain changing over to sleet, then finally snow this afternoon. we have at least 6-8 inches of the white stuff. I did my part to battle it. I shoveled our drive and the sidewalk. Now, hopefully it won't snow more tonite.

Quick update.......

Started off the week great. My brother and his family from Colo. Springs stopped by for a visit all day Sunday. It was so good to see him again. The cousins all got along famously and I cooked shrimp scampi for dinner.(Darn, I wish I had taken a picture so you all would believe that I really do cook. LOL)

Dh is out of town at a seminar to get his IT certificates updated, he'll be back this weekend.

I've got tons of projects going my hooks are never still. I'll try to post some later this weekend.

Easter Amis

I got the patterns for the amis from a gal over at the 'ville. Aren't they darling? They are, of course to gift for Easter. I have made a couple for special orders too. The grandmas at school love 'em for their lil ones.

Lil boy blue bunny:

I changed the tail to a pom-pom.

Lil chick, I used a "F" hook on this one(the pattern called for a "G")

Lambie Pie

They are all done in good ole RHSS except for the blue bunny which is Bernat Cotton Tots, the bumby rose bunny which is Bernat Soft Bucle, and the small pink bunny which is CaronSS.
I am also working on scarves for an Auburn university fan who wants to take a bag full to the NCAA diving finals next week to sell. She thinks they'll be a hit. We'll see....:)
